APC (Advanced Pediatric Centre) Auditorium, PGIMER

PGIMER was established in 1962 and is spread over an area of 277 acre in Chandigarh, India. It is an 'Institute of National Importance” and one of the leading public medical university in India. The Institute has grown from an initial bed strength of 230 to now over 1960 after adding Centres like Advanced Pediatrics Centre, Advanced Eye Centre, Advanced Cardiac Centre, Bone Marrow Transplant Centre and several new Intensive care units.
APC Auditorium is situated in the 300 bedded facility dedicated to the care of children. The Advanced Pediatric Centre was inaugurated in 1997 by Dr Shankar Dayal Sharma, the then president of India. It is equipped with modern facilities for treatment, teaching and research. The auditorium with a seating capacity of around 220 , has the most modern audio and video projection systems. It is supported by two side halls, each with a seating capacity of more than 50. It is designed with the latest technology and has been equipped with the latest heating, ventilation and air conditioning system.

How to reach Advanced Pediatric Centre

Advanced Pediatric Centre is easily accessible via public transportation (Bus services) from throughout the city to PGIMER which is connected with major road route (Madhya Marg) to adjacent states of Punjab and Haryana.
